The problem

Writing is more than sentences.

Many students can write sentences, but haven't been explicitly taught how to develop and organize their ideas into a strong paragraph.

The goal isn't simply to teach students what good writing looks like.
It's to help them learn how to produce it themselves.

What students experience

A proven writing process, from first to final draft.

Cohort 1 has graduated, and families shared positive feedback about the experience. Students take a paragraph project from first to final draft. The instructor provides personalized video feedback with color-coded guidance. Students revise and present their finished paragraph to parents and peers. They also reflect on what they learned throughout the course.

Students meet twice a week for 60-minute live Zoom sessions featuring direct instruction, discussion, modeling, and guided writing practice.

Students complete short weekly knowledge checks for homework via Google Forms. All assignments, resources, and feedback are organized through Google Classroom.

Abdullahi Janno — Experienced Writing Instructor

Abdullahi holds a master's degree and has 10+ years of experience tutoring students in writing, along with experience as a published author.The small cohort—just 6–10 students—allows students to participate, write, ask questions, and receive meaningful individual feedback.
